Allergies to spices are uncommon. However, there have been some cases of allergy to ginger and other condiments such as turmeric.

For example,  feeding with breast milk for up to 1 year and including complementary feeding from 6 months reduces the risk of this type of autoimmune pathologies. Excessive hygiene can also cause hypersensitization on the part of the body because it is faced with a foreign substance, even if it is not harmful.

It is also recommended to have a varied diet: in this way, the digestive system gets to know different nutrients and gets used to their metabolism. Removing certain foods from our diet may not generate an allergy but lead to a process of intolerance.

If you think you have an allergy, the most important thing is to see a specialist (allergist) for a clinical diagnosis. It will indicate your level of awareness and will tell you if it is necessary to remove this product from your diet or only to moderate its consumption.
