The skin cells are constantly renewing themselves. Those that die remain on its surface until new cells replace them. By performing peels or exfoliations, we contribute to the renewal of the skin and it becomes softer and firmer!

The skin is a part of our body that should not be taken care of just for aesthetic reasons. In fact, it is an organ which protects our body, which regulates its temperature and which allows us to experience the sense of touch and which puts us in direct relation with the outside world.

A peel is an exfoliation of the surface layer of the skin. It is done using different substances. Most exfoliators these days are chemical peels which we believe can harm the skin.

There are natural, less aggressive and more economical exfoliators, like the ones we present to you in this article!

Why is it good to perform a peel?

The superficial part of the skin is actually an accumulation of dead skin cells which have matured and which, from the inside, have risen to the surface. We can mention the fact that every day we lose over 30,000 dead skin cells!

For this reason, if we carry out an exfoliation of our skin from time to time, we will achieve the following benefits:

  • Spawn new cells.
  • Activate collagen production.
  • Improve blood circulation.
  • Delay in the appearance of wrinkles and prevent the skin from becoming saggy.
  • Make the skin softer.
  • Help the skin to get rid of its toxins while allowing it to breathe better through the pores.
  • Avoid the appearance of stains and facilitate the removal of existing ones.
  • Restore its natural glow to the skin.

Peels should not be abused either. Because it is necessary to respect the process of cell regeneration. Keeping this in mind, we recommend that you only do one per week.
