Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds (7 g)
  • 1 cup of boiling water (250 mL)
  • Honey (optional)

Preparation

  • First, pour a spoonful of fennel seeds into a cup of hot water.
  • Cover and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  • Filter and, if desired, add a teaspoon of honey.
  • Consume 2-3 cups per day.

Lemon and fennel seed infusion

This drink is ideal for relieving excessive stomach acidity and inflammation. In addition, due to its significant contribution in minerals and vitamin C,  it is ideal for strengthening the defenses.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds (7 g)
  • The juice of half a lemon
  • 1 cup of boiling water (250 mL)

Preparation

  • Add the spoon of seeds to a cup of boiling water
  • Then squeeze half a lemon and add the juice to the preparation.
  • Cover the mug and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Consume the lukewarm drink twice a day.

Gargle

To enhance the refreshing effect of fennel seeds to fight bad breath, we can combine them with a little mint. This plant helps reduce the presence of bacteria and neutralize bad breath left by certain foods.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of fennel seeds (7 g)
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1 cup of boiling water (250 mL)

Preparation

  • Pour the seeds and mint leaves into a cup of boiling water.
  • Then cover the cup and wait until the preparation is lukewarm.
  • Filter through a sieve.
  • Then use the liquid to gargle after brushing your teeth.
  • Use twice a day.
